We found the staff to be very helpful. The administration staff that were on site were always very responsive to our needs and questions and we felt that the caregivers truly did care for our loved one probably one of the most special things that happened. The Bluffs Advanced Memory Care

What I like the most about the community is the friendliness. However, I don't know if I would recommend the community to others. I would recommend checking out other places too. I didn't do that.

A Place for Dad

Our dad was in the Bluffs Memory Care facility for about 2 months before he passed away. The staff was friendly and caring as we prepared as a family, to say goodbye to our father. It was as close to a home environment as could be and his caretakers provided him with the best comfort and care in those final weeks and kept my family informed and comforted also. Thank-you for your service to so many families as they go through their final moments with their loved ones.

Of the properties, we toured, this was our least favorite. The resident rooms are very small. And the individual that gave us the tour, didn't have answers to a lot of our questions. We toured the memory care building. The person that gave us the tour was going to contact the person in the assisted living building so that we could also tour that. But we've never heard from them.

Terrible

We moved our father into Comforts of Home two weeks ago. Since then we have come at various times of the day; between 8am and 6pm and found him to be; Sitting in his own waste No showers full of food sitting at a table an hour after the meal time passed. We have observed others who need a high level of care also left to wait. This place is so understaffed its really hard to believe. There are rarely more then 3 people working to 40-45 residents. mom is content for first time in long time

Mom is very content at Comforts of Home, for the first time in a long time. They go out of her way to make sure that she is comfortable and that all her needs are met. They talk to her and engage her, making sure she is happy and they are doing the best they can to care for her. They are on the spot with any needs as they come up. They are just very comforting kind people. I like also that they get the residents out of their rooms and get them socializing and engaged.
