We offer upscale independent living, assisted living, and memory care services with a personalized, resident-first approach. We believe our services offer a retirement experience that is truly exceptional and invite you to see for yourself. Community Amenities and Services Our hospitable, caring staff strives to provide the finest, personalized care services. Caregivers are available around the clock to provide assistance with daily activities, incontinence care, and medication management, among other services. Nurses are available to oversee care plans and tend to general healthcare needs. For residents in need of more specialized care, our management team regularly coordinates visits with local physicians and specialists. Above all else, we lead with a resident-first approach and strive to create an environment that fosters growth and supports your independence. We host a diverse roster of events, each planned with residents' personal interests and unique history in mind. Our goal is to help residents connect with one another, develop meaningful friendships, explore new interests, and create a life that is fulfilling. Planned activities include a balance of physical activity and cognitive engagement, such as group fitness classes, arts and crafts, singalongs and table reads — the list goes on! Whatever your interests may be, there is no shortage of fun at The Brennity. Living Arrangements We offer a variety of living arrangements throughout the campus, each offering modest luxury, excellent craftsmanship, and beautiful views of the surrounding estate. Independent living residents have five cottage and six apartment floor plans to choose from, offering one-, two- or three-bedroom options. Each of the cottages includes an attached garage, full size kitchen, patio space and/or florida rooms, and ample storage space. The apartments share many similarities to the cottages and are thoughtfully designed to maximize the space. All independent living units are fully equipped with a washer and dryer as well. Assisted living and memory care residents have several darling studio floor plans to choose from. Each offers ample natural light and closet space with a handicap accessible bathroom and kitchenette. Whichever space suits you best, you’re sure to feel right at home here at The Brennity. State Classification The Brennity at Melbourne Senior Living is an assisted living facility which offers extended congregate care . In the state of Florida, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides supervision of the activities of daily living, medications, and other similar services to residents in a homelike environment. These facilities can house one resident to hundreds of residents. Extended Congregate Care Under this license, an assisted living facility can provide limited nursing services, supervision to residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments, provide total care for dressing/toileting/grooming, dietary management, and more. Its very hard to get anyone to answer the phone at the nurses station though and the resident services director always seems overwhelmed and never responds to my emails. My Moms room is missing the emergency pull cord in her bathroom and she's been there nearly 2 months. Water leaked from her sink and it took over a week to fix it. The floor was slick every day. The room is small but nice and updated. This property is the only one we saw that seemed to be actually …

CriticalUnfortunately, my experience has been disappointing due to ongoing understaffing issues. The lack of staff has affected important areas of care, including timely meals, medications, and assistance with basic needs like getting to the bathroom. The caregivers who are there seem to do their best, but the facility clearly needs more support and better staffing consistency. At this point, I would not feel comfortable recommending this community until the staffing situation is improved.

PositiveSit down lunch and dinners at tables with tablecloths and a serving staff. A menu with two choices of entrees daily on the right side and on the left side is a menu of numerous choices "always available" in case the two daily entrees are of no interest to the resident.
