don't engage her as much as we would like. All 5 except the overall experience. She sits in her room more than we would like but some of that is because she is combative. We would recommend this community to other families especially for the price.

CriticalMeal service has become a bug problem
I wrote last year about the slow meal service, and the situation has only gotten worse. Meals take an hour, and now my relative and her friends have had to write down breakfast orders for one server to hand to the cook because they do not speak English. The food is often cold and sometimes some portions are not delivered. The Bistro is still not stocked regularly. On several occasions I have tried to call the front desk and often no one answers. For months I have been visiting a resident here who continually complains about the cafeteria. Residents pay for meal programs but do not get regular meals. There is a lack of service staff and many times a lack of a cook. It started out very good 2 years ago but started going downhill last year. Many residents rely on family to attend to bring them groceries so they can cook a meal for themselves in their apartments or a meal delivered from a family member or a service. The staff has been very helpful. They have good activities. The cleaning staff does a good job in the rooms and common areas. The one downside has been the dining room. They have had turnover since the beginning. New people and short staff has caused long dining times at times.
