The Gardens of Eastbrooke

Gardens of Eastbrook is a nice community with excellent front office and direct care staff but room for improvement.

Staff was great. Just add more. I would recommend starting with the air. The odor was always pungent. The activities should be tailored to each patients needs. The group thing was too generic for my mother.

HORRIBLE

This place continues to get worse. Saw a patient walking around in pampers while soiled. I have a family member there who recently LOST the tip of her FINGER when a door slammed after showering with a staff member present. On too many occasions they were short handed and patients neglected like my family member who was left in bed till noon soiled due to staffing issues. HIGH TURNOVER of staff. The new Executive Director was forced to come in on Sunday due to staff shortages. +2

Better than the rest

I'm really never there during meal times, my father likes to go out he says the foods no good but I'm sure that's because he want to eat out:) Overall they have been really good to my dad, they always act genuinely happy to see him. It makes leaving him a little less terrible!! Yes we would recommend the Eastbrooke Gardens community to other families, they just try to show up and take your loved one out regularly and unannounced, that way you can see exactly what is going on in the facility

The Best Place in The Sky

This is better than the fancy pants places in the area. There is wonderful staff that understand memory care needs in the residents. This is the best place I have been to. The service is much better than other communities I have toured and had my loved one in before. The staff truly care for the residents. Sometimes the community is short staffed on the weekends. The staff overall is willing to listen to questions and address any questions or requests I have about my loved one.

Easy to Work Wtih

Eastbrooke is friendly, is a nice option, and they provide a good value for he money. The community is easy to work with if the family has questions or concerns about our loved one.

I did not like this facility much at all. There were a lot of residents and we were looking for something smaller. The staff were all super nice, but the building seemed older and needed some TLC.
