PositiveEverything was at highest standards. My wife was cared for in every way and need the very best they could I rate all categories a strong five. Wife was bedfast on arrival. When I took her home she was walking with a walker and dressing herself. She could bathe with little help.

PositiveThe Glen is a great community and the only choice for senior living in the area. [name removed] in nursing has a very strong team who care so much about the well-being of all they service. The activities are fun and change based off of the residents' requests- when my grandma wanted a new card game, it was added to the calendar the next month. Kudos to the team at The Glen.

PositiveMy mother has lived at The Glen for about a year now. She always tells me how much fun she has at the Activities and how she makes so many new friends. However, her biggest compliments are always to the maintenance team. It is very easy and convenient for her to voice her issues, and they address them very quickly. CriticalThe feedback is not positive. My mom developed a stage 4 pressure sore which was a direct result if the staff letting her sit to long in her wet depends. She arrived at the facility on [dates removed] we were treating her sore. We were finally referred to a wound clinic and were told the pressure sore was too large for them to treat. My mom was admitted to the hospital on [date removed] and had major surgery on the wound [date removed]. She was hospitalized for eight days with a wound VAC from there. The story goes…

CriticalI was so disappointed in the care. [name removed] moved into the facility in October and fell out of bed 4 times in a 2 week timeframe and was taken to ER. His wife [name removed] felt it was necessary to ultimately hire 2 people to stay with him M-F until he went to bed. In December he suffered a foot injury and since he was on Hospice he was not taken to the hospital since the injury was not related to his dementia. It was horrific looking. PositiveThe memory care staff is very kind and sweet with their residents. While I know Mom doesn't have the 1 on 1 care she had at home, she is safe, and treated kindly. Her room is typically in good shape. Have had clothes, sheets, towels, shoes and socks go missing in laundry. It is supposed to be done individually there and I've not received a satisfactory response to that issue. I would not recommend use of the in house beauty salon there.
