I don't know if there are better one's or not but the Goldton at Lake Nona were by far the best we saw in Orlando and Memphis. We walked in and were immediately greeted by our guide. The entryway is what caught our eye first. Bright, airy and welcoming. Everyone we met was nice and pleased to meet us, both residents and staff. The activities sounded like they were varied and frankly fun to me. The food looked delicious and a pizza oven as the centerpiece of the restaurant doesn't hurt either.

The staff is great they make you feel at home. Are always watching out for the residents. Room is big. She is happy with that if I can convince her to stay. Only bad experience is that my mom is being bullied but a set if the residents and it is only a few of them and the staff has done nothing about them. I see the same ones doing it to a lot of the residents

The Goldton seems tucked away in the back of a nice strip mall. It fools you into thinking it's not that nice. Once inside however you find a place people will want to live in. Assisted and memory care only, the place has a feeling of a high priced apartment complex. The rooms are open and inviting with plenty of closet space and and room in the bathroom for two people to easily maneuver. All the hallways have hidden handrails that look like molding. The staff, when it was [community removed], was great. And the caregivers in the memory care unit were wonderful! When [name removed] was on the assisted living side though, for about three weeks, he had things taken like laundry detergent and dryer sheets. And they really didn't take care of them very well on that side. And a couple times that we press the buttons it took well over 15 to 20 minutes for somebody to get there. Friendly staff willing to accommodate patient memory care changes!

3.5-4.0. The facility was recently purchased and it's now Goldton at Lake Nona!! They do try hard but Dads care is rapidly changing and he's gone from fairly independent to needy.

I had the opportunity to tour Somerby Lake Nona and I was so impressed by the staff, they went above and beyond to make my experience good. I love the studio apartment it was big enough and I can bring anything I would like from my home to make it cozy. I was able to stay for lunch and WOW the meal and service were wonderful, beautiful plate presentation and delicious desserts. Big Thank you to Somerby Lake Nona!
