1. Horrible! We pulled him out two weeks ago. He was covered in bruises, and we later found out he has several cracked ribs. They also did not give him his specifically prescribed medication correctly or on time. EVER! LOTS OF agency folks too. They are just there for the pay check! 2. There's no cleaning schedule for residents rooms. Same debris, dust, bugs, (soiled latex gloves) are on floor, not picked up for months. Toilets have pink and black mold inside and outside. Tried engaging local management, they promise to address but no actual results. Meal food is cheap, lots of pasta and simple lunch meat. We moved our loved one here after having a negative and unhealthy experience at another community close by. Brookdale has a stable and caring staff and does not rely on agency caregivers. It is so important to have reliable, stable and patient caregivers for the residents that rely on a routine and familiar faces. Our family appreciates the extra efforts and kindness everyone brings to work each day, it is noticed and a huge relief for the families.
