Everyone is friendly and helpful. But not overly, which is good for my sister. They dont try to talk you into doing things but let you set the pace. Apartment sizes are okay. The apartments are clean and look new. The entire facility looks great. They have a lot of amenities and with some it is your choice

It was a really nice place. It was hard for my mom to adjust to community living. Her health went downhill, and she had to move into a full-care nursing home. But it was friendly and inviting and the the staff was great. It was really a great place.

Mom is very pleased with The Homestead. She's very happy with the staff. She's very happy with the activities. The apartment is very nice. It has just enough space that she can get everything she wants in it, and because of that, it has that homey feeling that's very important to her. It is more expensive than other places in the area, but she would recommend it to other people.

Criticalthere is a problem at the Homestead now with residents getting $$$ stolen from their rooms it is a number of residents, staff seems to not be listening to them and makes comments to them like "they think they are just old and do not remember if they had cash or if they spent it" .............this is a serious issue and management need to make these residents feel they can report things and get them looked into, this is suppose to be a safe place but residents do not feel that way at the moment.
