PositiveMy mother was in the Meridian memory care area for about 9 months. She passed in[date removed]. The staff was friendly and professional. The common area and my mother’s room were always spotless. Mom enjoyed the meals greatly. The only problem we encountered was bathroom breaks. The bathroom is in her room, but the rooms are locked during the day. Staff was always willing to open the door for mom when asked, but my mom was not good at communicating her wishes. PositiveStaff is loving and kind always wanting to make things as good as they can for my mom. Upgrading lobby new paint and furnishings and flooring but the facility was beautiful as is now even more updated. My mom is in a studio which has a huge bathroom and nice size bedroom and sitting room in addition to an efficiency kitchen. Plenty of room for her.

PositiveI was very pleased with the whole experience. My mother loved the food and loved the regular staff. She did not participate in the activities, but they usually tried to include her. Her only complaint was it was hard to make friends in the memory area, as most of the residents were uncommunicative. Of course, she tried and always smiled at everyone. She interacted with staff a lot more than residents. She never complained.

PositiveMy mother, who recently passed, spent the last 2 years of her life living at the Meridian at Boca Raton. The Meridian was an excellent choice and I am forever grateful for all they did to provide such a positive, safe, and enriching home for her. My mom loved her spacious and well designed apartment, enjoyed the food (especially the extravagant holiday meals) along with the flexibility of food choices, and quickly made friends there.
