★★★★★
CriticalThe overall care was severely lacking. There response time to my mom pushing her button was slow and she even had multiple times where she soiled herself because they never came to assist her. I received multiple calls on a daily basis from my mom about needing assistance and the staff not showing up for her. The food was sub par and not what they talked about in the tour of the facility. They stated that the food menu was built by a dietitian but my family could not tell as they served my mom hot dogs on multiple…

PositiveMy mom passed away at the Piper so we have not been there since December. Excellent facility for seniors and what we liked the most about the community is the attentive from all staff. RN present. Community dining Access

PositiveThe staff is very friendly and professional. They had a certain person assigned to us at move in. She was very helpful and friendly. The studio apartment is one of the largest we did find. It even has a kitchenette with a regular size fridge. She can have her keurig and a small microwave there. They have been real good about taking her to exercise every time and other activities. She goes on outings also. The food is pretty standard but she likes it as they serve softer meats. They don't get desert every day. T…

PositiveDefinitely the communication is amazing. One or more of the staff calls me weekly to give me updates and suggestions. My cousin has been very difficult past two years, but he seems to have mellowed a lot and also seems to have settled in nicely.

CriticalIt's my mother who lived there for a short while. From my experience, the staff were friendly, the care was good and pretty responsive. There were plenty of activities for those who wanted to join. The food quality wasn't the best and they did a pretty dismal job of cleaning my mom's apartment.

PositiveI would give all 8 statements a rating of 5. Our experience with The Piper was exceptional. All caregivers were attentive and timely. The kitchen staff was wonderful and provided additional food when needed. They brought us meals or beverages without us asking (we were there a lot). 24 hour access with a secure fob. An RN or LPN available 24/7. Everyone was just kind. Maintenance folks that checked in.
