Looks Good at a Glance

I visit a family friend here 3-4 times a month. She’s been here for 3 years. She preferred when it was run by Avamere , it has been changed to Ridgeline. Positive reviews online are from when it was Avamere. The plus points are new maintenance, fixed everything that had been broken for the past year. My friend said the activities were really good up until recently when there seem to be cuts and the trips are not happening like in the past. Great potential , look carefully!

The location is wonderful. Close to shopping, restaurants, post office, banks and more. The villas are wonderful. Quiet, large, big bathrooms, garages, nice kitchen and laundry. Check out landscaping. (Dead shrubs, overgrown trees, plugged gutters. Irrigation not working). There are 12 villas. Four are unoccupied. Any apartments are unoccupied. The main building underwent a complete remodel in 2024. Looks like a 5 star hotel. It is not.

Friendly staff

The meals are very good. I even go frequently to visit my dad and have a meal with him. The place is very clean. They've recently remodeled. The executive director of The Ridge at Oregon City is trying to bring in more residents. Some residents have died and some have moved out because of health reasons. I've even gotten to know some of the residents there. The new activity director has many varieties of activities available as well as field trips

I definitely would recommend this facility to others. They just did a complete facility remodel - new roof, hvac, carpet, paint, furnishings, etc. Really looks spectacular. Staff is great. Really care about residents. Housekeeping also is convenient and nice. Family communications are as much or little as you need. They have an app that someone can sign up for that distributes all info that goes to resident, which is very helpful. Meals are okay, not spectacular but not bad.
