The Summit

I would like to tell you that I would highly recommend The Summit to anyone looking for a very nice place for a family member to live especially if they are looking for memory care! The staff is very friendly and the place is always very clean and doesn't have that odor that a lot of the other places have.

The Curb Appeal was very good. The Greeting Area was Spectacular. [name removed] our gracious host for the day was great and did a good job of showing all the site has to offer. The 2 Bedroom that was available to be seen was very accommodating. We were a little confused about the meals and what was included. We would like to have seen a menu. Disappointed

I can tell you that the facility is lovely, the food is pretty good, the people are pleasant. But I would not recommend it to anyone. In the 3 weeks Mom was there, they never got her medicine right. They forgot it, gave her wrong pills etc. They also forgot her showers unless I reminded them or gave her a shower myself. And they would forget to change her bed unless they were reminded many times. They were supposed to pop in several times a day to check on her...only one aide did that. They were supposed to pop in…

What a wonderful place to have a loved one in. The Summit is beautiful and well maintained by the staff. If anyone wants a recommendation then this is the place. The ice cream bar they have is such a throwback with the furniture it really takes back the older generations to a different time. The rooms are spacious and flooring that is pretty much hazard free since it’s luxury Planck vinyl. The Summit Hits More Low Points Than High

I believe the assisted living area is nice and had my mom ended up there instead of in memory care I may have scored these things differently. The memory care unit was not a good place and I don't believe my mom received quality care. Her health declined very rapidly as a result and I regret moving her to the summit. By the time I found a different place to move her, it was too late as she was too frail to move. Review for The Summit

So far the staff and residents have been very supportive and friendly. The food is very good. Plenty of choices for most tastes. Healthy foods are available, but there's no lack of lovely looking rich desserts. It's expensive, but the benefits of living at the Summit include some unexpected perks. The maintenance and security seem like strong points. There are lots of activities.
