Critical[name removed] passed away [date removed] Allandale was a nice small place. Staff treated him well. The Villages of Allendale memory care facility has a quaint place for memory care residents. The staff members are kind. We did not run into any issues for the year our family member lived there.

PositiveIt's a very nice place for someone with dementia, which my aunt had. My uncle died within a week of arriving there and my aunt fell about 2 months later and fractured her hip, so she left there and passed away in a rehab facility post surgery. I really appreciated A Place for Mom's help in finding a place.

PositiveStaff have always treated her with respect and kindness. They are all very responsive to my questions and calls when checking in on her. They keep me well informed of changes with her medication, doctor visits or if she has an accident. Mom complains some but she eats it. I think it more of what she thinks she doesn't like what they have to eat. They seem to have a routine on meals. I've not tasted it so I can't tell you on that.
