CriticalHaving to look for an assisted living facility for a family member became somewhat of an emergency after the death in the family. We chose "closeness" to family rather than looking around and comparing the choices. This turned out to be a BIG MISTAKE! After they receive your $[removed] deposit, you feel "locked in". Please take my advice, shop around, visit other facilities, ask a lot of questions and then...don't trust what you are told. Go and visit often to see the day to day operation. There are BIG DIFFERENCE…

The family's overall experience with Proprietor's Green was a positive one. I believe that the overall value for the cost was good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and was always knowledgeable about my mother's specific needs. The one significant area for improvement was with the meals/dining. Early on in my mother's arrival, the staff paired my mother up with other residents that my mother did not get along with and it was addressed to the staff and nothing was done about it which made for an unpleasa…
