Kind and caring staff

Overall, the staff was kind and caring for my mother. The place was clean. The food was fine. My mom seemed to eat everything. The room was a generous size as it fit a queen size bed, recliner, side table plus a dresser. One staff member even danced with my mom.

The Right Place for My Mom

I would tell them that Westmark Senior Living has been exceptional. I visited 11 different facilities before choosing a place for my mom, and Westmark stood out immediately. The community is clean, well maintained, and welcoming, but the staff is what truly makes it special. They are caring, professional, and genuinely invested in the people who live there. The staff was very nice. The facility is very old and run down. The furniture is old. Maintenance looks neglected. And though I wanted a one story facility, this place felt institutional. It was also much more expensive than the assisted living facility I chose. Everyone that worked there was amazing. It's too bad they don't get any help from ownership in presenting a maintained, well cared for environment.

Great Experience for Mom and Family.

The Staff was incredibly nice and helpful especially Irene Hidalgo. The facility was kept very clean and everyone seemed very responsive. As far as the cost of the facility it was very reasonably priced and we looked and compared numerous properties. Overall this was the best overall facility for my Mother in Law. Unfortunately we had to move my Mother in Law as she needed more assistance on a daily basis.

Review for The Westmark Senior Living

[names removed] were great to work with when we were signing up for our mom. They took time to walk us through everything and really help us understand everything. Overall we are very happy but there is some inconsistency with managing medication and the way laundry is handled with stuff going missing if or being delivered to the wrong residents.

One thing that was lacking in the other memory care homes I toured was the interaction of the residents. I saw four residents sitting at a table conversing with one another. A staff member handed them a game to play. I also appreciated how caring the staff members (even the maintenance person) were towards me and explaining how much they will care for my mom. The facility is smaller than others and seemingly less overwhelming.
