It's such a difficult decision to make and go thru. You always want the best for your loved one. It just takes time and communication to understand what happens in a place like this. My mom recently will have to make a move to a memory care facility. I toured Timberdale Trace and was impressed with the personnel and how welcoming they were. I got to see the entire place and all the things that will be available to mom.

Friendly staff

The community is very safe, clean and inviting. There are many activities to keep the residents active and engaged. The activities director is very creative and involves as many of the residents in the activities as possible. The rights of the residents are always considered. There are various areas throughout the community to meet the interests of the residents. For example there is a baby care area with a crib, dolls, bottles and clothes. The staff really care and do a great job treating every resident like family. Activities are great compared to other local places. Room sizes and layouts are a little bit smaller than other places we toured, but perfectly comfortable for a single resident.

My mom has lived here for 2 years and I had my fair share of complaints but [Name Removed],the director at the time would always try to fix issues and listen to me and the caregivers concerns.Day or night she was amazing giving it 100%. She sincerely cared for the community and I reached out to express my concerns with her leaving and management didn’t care.Since then I’ve noticed more and more of the flaws. Friendly, home-like place

Staff are very friendly and seem to truly care about the residents and their well being. There are many activities that my family member participates in regularly (morning exercise, afternoon crafts, weekly church service viewing). The initial move in process was a bit chaotic, but after a few months my family member, and I, are learning the routine. I would recommend the facility to others.
