The nurses are great, and the facility is excellent. The food is just okay, not so good. The location is great. The only bad thing is the assistants who actually provide some of the hands-on care. Some are not well trained, are always in a hurry, and do not spend much time with the patients. I mentioned this in a meeting with the staff. Bathing, dressing, and listening to patients’ needs are areas that need a lot of improvement. The location is convenient, and I guess I would use them again. One good question to…

Nursing station was very good. Assistants were young and most were not trained well. The front line people are the assistants and helpers. A few were Great but most were Always in a rush to leave and did not take time to make sure the patient was fine. Especially showering and added functions needed . Traditions at Brookside has been a lifesaver for my Mom and peace of mind for me. The facility is absolutely beautiful, clean, safe and so many activities. The staff have become family to my Mom! They go out of their way to care for her and make her feel special and loved. My mom is completely independent but if she needs more care or assistance it’s available.
