Community Services Our community has professional staff available to residents around the clock for any immediate needs. Licensed practical and registered nurses are on staff to oversee your medical care. Three meals each day, plus snacks, are provided in our resident dining room. We coordinate with you and your family for specialty physicians’ visits to see to your care needs, and also have an on-site physician. Assistance with activities of daily living are provided according to your care needs. A full schedule of fun activities and entertainment is offered to residents to ensure a stimulating and active social life. The following medical services are available on-site: Medication administration Lab work X-rays and sonograms EKGs and EEGs Physical, occupational, and speech therapies Podiatry Ophthalmology Living Options Transitions Healthcare Oakland Manor offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom units, with private and semi-private options. Wheelchair-accessible units and bathrooms are available, as well. Units feature cable TV and telephone access. Housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services are provided, and all areas are supervised and secured for optimal safety. PositiveMy 97 year old mother recently passed away. The 3 months prior she was a resident at Transitions Oakland Manor. She was very sharp to the end and especially enjoyed playing Bingo and some of the other activities offered occasionally. She got along well with most of the caregivers at the home and several, I know seemed to look out for her. The food was always served hot and a nice variety, even though my Mom didn't eat much.
