Very nice facility, food, and staff. My mom had been promised a bathtub, but it turns out that is not allowed for safety sake. I would recommend for sure, mom has adjusted well there, made friends, etc

Problems with Merrill management

Competent, talented, caring staff. Good day trips, pretty good food. I wouldn't recommend. We left, as had others, and some staff. Merrill (owners) made sudden changes that affected staff and residents 1. Fired sales manager [Name Removed] without any notice 2. Overnight removed all tables for 2 in dining room, replaced with 4 seaters 3. Elevator on one side of building broke and down for days. Wheel chair and walker users were stuck upstairs 4. Dug up the inside courtyard, and left a dirt mountain in its place…

Excellent in every way

Food very good. Activities are adult, many, frequent, and diverse: guest speakers, live musical performances, exercise-including swimming pool, interesting and fun off site trips, games, and more. Staff are well trained and helpful. Truewood is very well managed; management are readily available and responsive, and it is well maintained inside and out. Looked at many, tried another for 3 months. Truewood for me is by far the best!

Mgnt. hard to deal/place run down

The property is in need of constant repairs. The pool roof caved in while my mom was there and the elevator quits regularly. The balconies are in need of repair. The front facade cannot be cleaned. The current Mgr is disrespectful to the residents and their families.

Welcoming, friendly and where I would live if I were old enough.

I was helping a friend and he moved into Truewood. He is still there and happy. It is a very nice facility with updated apartments and lots of activities. Welcoming, friendly and where I would live if I were old enough.
