PositiveMy parents love it, especially mother. She loves the extra care that she receives since dad wasn't able to do everything alone. She likes her therapists, one seems to be a bit harsh, but overall good. They enjoy the activities and really like the people they are meeting. They are comfortable in their room. It's smaller than their last one bedroom but adapting well. They commented a few times about the food not being exceptional. They don't like to complain, so never say anything. PositiveIt is very clean. The staff are friendly and show care and concern for the residents. The dining hall and food are good. They use table clothes and make the tables welcoming. The only thing that would have been more helpful for residents and their families would have been a meeting with the staff in the first week so we knew how to access various staff when needed, a notebook about procedures like how to sign up to get rides on the bus, a schedule of monthly events emailed to family, etc. We had to learn all of thi…

PositiveCould have used a bigger refrigerator. Other than that. All was good. My mother in law was only there for 5 days. Overall very good option.
★★★★★
PositiveSeem very caring. Director engaged accommodating. Our mother seems happy and is cared for. Staff is kind and attentive. Although at times staffing can be limited. You always need to be engaged no matter what facility. We started off a little ruff but things were addressed and have been smooth since. We have been there for nearly 3 months.
★★★★★
PositiveThe room seems nice, but she rarely leaves her recliner. Don't think she participates in any activities. She seems clean when we visit. The staff is nice, but communication is rather spotty. There is not much they can do for her other than keep her clean and safe knowing that she is unmotivated given her increased dementia and lack of energy. People need to know that they can't expect miracles as memory decline is more frustrating for those who care rather than those who have the disease.
★★★★★
PositiveMy brother in law was only there for a short time. He was horribly behaved, but the staff was wonderful. Yes we would recommend Trustwell Living to other families based on the experience.
