Our friendly associates provide regular housekeeping, laundry, and linen services, enabling you more time to visit with your loved ones. Our professional chef prepares delectable, restaurant-quality meals every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Savor every bite while reclining in our charming Villa Bistro dining room, which features a stunning view of our lovely gardens. Salad bar options are also available during lunch and dinner for those who would prefer a lighter meal. At Villa Santa Barbara, we take your health and safety very seriously. Prior to move-in, one of our caregivers meets with the resident to evaluate what level of need they would benefit best from. Our 24-hour services include diabetic and ambulatory care as well as assistance with individualized activities of daily living. We also offer medication management and even coordinate complimentary transportations services for those who need to travel off-site for medical appointments. Our team strives to provide community members with meaningful ways that help them develop new skills, interests, and relationships. Every month, our activity calendar is updated with new recreational activities and social events in order to accommodate a wide range of hobbies. Living Arrangements We currently offer studio and one-bedroom apartments for residents to choose from based on their individual needs and preferences. All units include plush wall-to-wall carpeting, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and spacious entertainment areas. Each apartment includes a wheelchair-accessible bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, safety railing, and emergency response call buttons. Select units feature a convenient kitchenette and a private balcony area as well. For families in need of short-term or respite care, Villa Santa Barbara can help. Our community offers flexible stays, with a minimum of at least two weeks. Respite guests stay in a fully furnished apartment and have full access to the same amenities, activities, and services as long-term residents. Care Types Offered Villa Santa Barbara is a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE) , which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as assisted living facilities and board and care facilities . A residential care facility may provide care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
