Villa South Assisted Living and Memory Care

Friendly staff and definitely nice community

The only other facility in Corpus Christi worth these ratings is 5 on all categories I for Villa of Corpus Christi South (on Yorktown road).It's older but they are really good with the residents. I have visited every place in Corpus and surrounding areas and Villa Corpus Christi South and [community name removed] are the only ones I would recommend.

I am currently looking for an Assisted Living for my Mother (88, a Retired Nurse, the worst critic's) that includes an opportunity for advanced/memory care. I did not schedule an appointment w' Sales at Villa South. I decided to drop in after caring for Mom all day. Tired, frustrated, need a solution! I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It was clean, smelled good, the Staff was welcoming, but I was not rushed like a " car lot. " Bingo was just letting out so, I encountered a Resident in the hallway. S…

Good Place for a Loved One

I would suggest you go visit to make sure it's the right fit. There are certain qualifications your loved one has to pass to be able to stay there. It's a perfect fit for our loved one in her current situation. She has her own little efficiency apartment and a lot of independence. She loves the food. And they take good care of her. The location was great for our family as well.

Villa South Experience

It had its good points, and I felt it would be good for him, but didn't turn out that way. Probably ok for some, maybe not everyone. I experience theft from an employee there, but it was simply a my word against his case, he set it up perfectly, and they continue to let him work, but not around my husband. They clearly have tape documentation of he being the only person in the room. Disappointed they ask us to leave, after a fall. Overall, most things went well, as I said, but there were some safety issues too.....…

Bad experience

We were only here at Villa South for maybe about 2 weeks. They gave us the run around of everything and it seemed great but it did not work out. They did not let him come back after we took him out one day. I do know that the director that would not let him come back has since then been replaced as we got a call asking if we would like to return.

So wonderful!

The staff are so wonderfully kind, caring, and flexible about our needs that I think Villa South deserves the highest rating.
