Our Family's Experience

We found the staff to be very kind but felt they were understaffed. My mom was moved there at the beginning of [date removed]; she did not transition well. She escaped the gates facility within the first week and crossed a busy street where she went to a home. The residents of that home called 911. Within the first 10 days mom sustained a fractured back for which we didn't know the cause. She was placed on an anti anxiety med to help with the trauma of her move there, but between that med and pain meds and pain med…

The staff is real friendly. They take time to talk to you. The place is a little small, but it works. I can't think of anything that they can improve on

Room for Improvement

I do not feel that the $[fee removed] a month. I'm paying for my dad's care is getting my dad. The best care he should get for the money. The administrator of the facility left three months after I put my dad there and I have never spoken to the new administrator as of yet. They do not seem to be keeping me up-to-date with my dad, and I have to call and ask for specific information. I have considered relocating my father but have not been able to find a vacancy.
