CriticalFantastic staff but not a place for a big energy, ambulatory Senior.
Residents in the facility were immobile. They wanted to sedate [name removed] so she couldn't walk around. Nobody at the door watching people go in and out of the facility.

I hate to say negative, it's because my situation may not be like other people's. I believe they tried to get [name removed]up to go to activities, but she wouldn't go. She complained that the dining room was very cold and it was they didn't seem to answer the button when she would call for help, but maybe they were busy. I don't know. It's hard getting real answers from someone that has dementia after she fell and broke her pelvis and then fell again and broke her left arm. They couldn't handle it any longer and I…

PositiveA family facility with kind and friendly staff
Mom said the meals were just okay. She also did not like that they sometimes had disposable plates and silverware. Mom commented the activities were a bit limited, but she didn't participate in many. The caring staff trumped any possibly negative things. They were always friendly and helpful to me and I felt like they valued my thoughts as well. Yes, I have and would recommend Village Cove.

Such a caring community at Village Cove! My relative has been at Village Cove for over a year. Recently, my relative's son-in-law died, and I reported this to my relative. Being upset, I told staff that we would eat in her apartment that evening. Within ten minutes the activity director was in her room with a card and, "I'm here for you." Brought tears of kindness to my relative and me. We love all the music that comes into Village Cove. And all those manicures! A wonderful group of residents to be around.
