PositiveStaff for the vast majority were friendly and most helpful, attentive and caring. Food was great and varied. Activities were plentiful and well attended. Room was clean and functional. Condition of the resident made it more difficult to call it a pleasant experience, but they tried to accommodate.

PositiveCleanliness -- For months we complained about the public bathroom that was never stocked and was filthy. Memory Care patients have to use that bathroom , most do not have keys to their room b/c they lose them. Finally, the bathroom is cleaned 3x a day.Quality of care -- memory care is significantly understaffed. Sr. Leadership changes, poor communication, housekeeping issues constantly. Value - for almost $10k a month I expect clean bathrooms, a room that is cleaned at least weekly, adequate staffing so that I do…

Positivethe key for us was location rated 2 or 3. The sales person was great. Overall similar to the Almaden location but location and surrounding areas pushed us to pay more for the Almaden location.

PositiveMy wife and I moved into the Watetmark of SJ in [removed date]. This Watermark …. there are two in San Jose….. suits our needs well. 1….Right size…. Current population is 110 (residents Inc. 25 memory care). Max 160 total. Not too small…not too large. 2…. Right staffing. PositiveFor the initial move in, Watermark handled everything -- going well above and beyond expectations. Once my sister was moved in, we had some kinks in communication and housekeeping; they are a new community. We have since smoothed everything out. The community is luxurious; the food is very high quality; caregivers are accessible; activities are engaging, numerous, and available throughout the day. They focus on keeping the memory care residents engaged with the broader community in a safe way.
