Staff is underpaid. Lots of new people, constantly. Most of decision was made on convenience factor The move in coordinator is fabulous. So is the sales director

A Great Place for Home.

A 5 for all of them. [name removed] was very easy to work with and helped us get everything planned for my dad's stay. The nurse was great also with his meds. The facility it self looks more like a 5 star country club. We toured during lunch and I would have liked to have eaten there. A great number of choices. Dad liked the food. We have another reservation there for a trip we have to take end of April. I have complete trust and confidence he will be great.

Overall pleased, would recommend

Overall it was positive from management to most of the employees. [name removed] (director), [name removed] (RN), [name removed] (nurse), [name removed] (marketing), 3 of the caregivers, and the chef were all so kind, helpful and supportive. Hospice was amazing. A couple of the front desk ladies were not welcoming at all. We almost left before we even spoke to [name removed] about admissions because of how rude the front desk lady was. A few of the caregivers acted like we were bothering them or interrupting them

Critical

Waterstone on Augusta

We needed an "assisted living" facility not a retirement home. It advertises as "assisted living", however, since we were there over 1-year, it is now a retirement home. Transportation response was horrible in scheduling transport to doctors appointments. All but non-existent. The activities director takes care of scheduling transportation to and from doctor appointments and she would not return calls. I had to get [name removed], who is the sales person for the rooms to get involved in order to schedule 1 appointm

Poorly Managed

Small apartment-bedroom consists of one full bed, my electric piano, a small closet, and some wall paintings. Hall entrance into small kitchen area with bathroom on one side & kitchen items on the other. Very small living room with 2 matching chairs, living room table with plants atop & beautiful cabinet containing valuable gifts over the years. Large window behind sofa.

Super nice facility with internal issues

They don't pay their employees enough to keep them and have constant turnover. That doesn't lead to personal relationships with patients or their families. The off shift needs more supervision. Several employees there confided in us that they would sometimes miss a weekly paycheck. I don't understand how that happens. They have some good people working there that don't feel very appreciated leading to apathy in patient care. It was by far the nicest facility that we looked at in our search
