Welcome to the family- and service-oriented lifestyle of Wedgewood Estates! The Casto family has managed this community since 2005, bringing nearly 45 years of senior care experience with them. Family and Christian care are major components of life at Wedgewood Estates, and we’re sure you’ll feel like a part of our family before you know it! Located in Mansfield, Ohio, we are close to attractions like the Mansfield Memorial Museum, Mansfield Art Center, and Ohio Bird Sanctuary. We offer a variety of care options, including independent living, assisted living, and extended care. Some of the care services we offer in house are through MedCentral Home Care, a Medicare-approved service. Community Amenities and Services Wedgewood Estates provides plenty of opportunities to have fun, without ever having to leave our campus. All community members can enjoy our fun vintage ice cream parlor! Everyone deserves a sweet treat every once in a while, and it's a great spot to show your family when they visit. We also like to celebrate special events with our residents, such as birthdays and anniversaries. For occasions like these, you can enjoy a free lunch for up to eight people in our formal dining room. Your social calendar might get full here. We offer a weekly exercise program, educational workshops, music performances, movies, sing-alongs, planned outings, weekly grocery shopping trips, intergenerational programs, crafts, games, and a pool table where you can hang out with your friends. If you are spiritually inclined, we offer worship services and study programs. Living Arrangements Take advantage of our independent living options in our Garden Homes. We have several options available for you to consider, including two- and three-bedroom units, as well as duplexes. All of our Garden Homes have a dedicated garage space, so you won’t have to worry about walking out to your car in the rain or snow. Enjoy a complimentary daily lunch, and feel free to join us in the dining room for any other meals you don’t feel like cooking. On days when you aren’t feeling your best, we can even deliver your meals to you! Plus you won’t need to worry about housework — Garden Homes are cleaned for you twice a week. Assisted living residents will feel right at home at The Manor House. Here we have 52 suites to offer you personalized care. Your suite will be thoroughly cleaned on a weekly basis, and we’ll gladly come back to do spot cleaning whenever you need it. We do have laundry facilities available throughout The Manor House, but we’d be happy to do it for you — we’ll wash each person’s clothes separately, and according to the instructions on the label. We’ll help you with as much as you would like, while also respecting your desire to remain independent, when possible. Some of the things our nurses and care staff help with include bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication monitoring. Instructions from your physician will be diligently incorporated into your care plan. We also have an extended services program for anyone who needs a higher level of care. Here we’ll offer around-the-clock care and assistance to you in your personal suite. We also arrange for activities and one-on-one encounters based on your interests and needs.
