CriticalI am the loved one. My daughter has lived in Florida for over twenty years. She's a nurse at Advent Hospital several of her patients recommended WWP. I'm from out of state and not familiar enough with this area. Guess I should have checked out more carefully as well as additional communities.
★★★★★
PositiveThey need more courtesy people for service in breakfast, lunch and dinner. Treat the patients better.
★★★★★
PositiveThe waitlist can vary depending on if you put a deposit down or not. If you are applying for independent living, the applicant will be interviewed by a registered nurse and a financial review before being accepted.

CriticalMy love ones were in a one bedroom in the ALF on the 3rd floor. From the minute they arrived they were told they would need a "private sitter" 8 hours a day, then it was 12 hours a day and then it was 24 hours a day. The only thing the nurses did was give meds and that was basically delivering them. They did not administer as the care plan indicated. PositiveWe love it here and are very busy with activities. They are always working on improving the food when reading complaints and it has been better (they're working on more gluten free foods.) We especially like their international dinners once a month. I would like to see more help in the health center but this seems to be the same everywhere. They're opening up a new dementia unit which is supposed to be state of the art. Money wise it probably is comparable to facilities like ours.
★★★★★
PositiveAll 5's but we've only been there one month before we came north for the summer. The community is expensive but the fact that they won't put you out if you run out of money is a big thing compared to other places.
