PositiveI'd rate 4 stars w/a strong '+' only because of staffing issues, hopefully something temporary. Love the environment! [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]& staff (in general) set a beautifully inviting, family oriented atmosphere that [name removed] fits into perfectly! Love her restaurant-style meal choices; waiter included, even if at times she begs the difference; par for the course; back to normal; using her voice w/great improvement! Her unit is beautiful, spacious w/ accommodating amenities, in -ro…

PositiveIt was a beautiful facility, new construction. The gal that helped onboard us was terrific. Amenities were great. I would definitely recommend to other. The only thing I can add is the one drawback... not enough outdoor space, or serene places to relax outside

CriticalMy husband has been in the Memory Care Unit of Westmont of Culver City for a year. My initial review was a five star one, based on this being new and unknown territory. However, I feel that my view towards the entire experience, has changed. First, the memory care unit is totally understaffed. The ratio of caregiver to residents is very poor, creating an environment for accidents to happen. Second, I feel the caregivers need in-services to ensure that they understand their jobs. They need to be held accountable for…

PositiveWestmont of Culver City had extremely helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate staff. Apartment sizes are excellent. Washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus. Entire building and all units as well as amenities were new and beautiful. [name removed] and [name removed] were wonderful as well... "sales" and move in coordinator.

CriticalMy aunt was assessed at a high level of care (I think it was a 5, 6 being the highest). She was coming from rehab from hip surgery and a mild stroke. As one knows the higher your level the more expensive. Her first day there she fell and fractured her pelvis. She was not able to get assistance right away. She was finally brought to ER. When she returned to Westmont she should have been re-evaluated. Regardless the next few days she was barely checked on. My family had to intervene and we were not impressed by their…

PositiveMy grandmother moved in to Westmont in August and was one of the first residents. We’ve been super pleased - the building is really well designed and every member of the staff we’ve interacted with has been warm, professional, and helpful. She was not excited to be moving, but the Westmont staff have done a great job of smoothing the transition and providing support.
