Whispering Pines was the best assisted living facility out of the 4 we toured. I like the fact that they aren't overwhelmed with residences, so there is more individual attention for each one. Room sizes are adequate. My brother has his twin bed, a love sofa, a coffee table, a TV with cable, a computer table, and a chair and his chest of drawers. He has 2 closets and his own half bathroom. They do have a van and go on outings, like the movies, luncheons. They get visiting entertainment occasionally, and a very nic…

They were so kind and helpful at all times. My mother was only there for 2 weeks (she was in hospice). She passed while there and we were all treated with such kindness and dignity.

No activities, the person in charge is never available, the staff has very foul language and is mean to the residents. Do not put your loved one there!! My mother hated this place and had to be moved .
