PositiveFood was good. You have different choices for each meal and if you don't care for what is on the menu, you can order something different. Staff was very pleasant and helpful always. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

CriticalOutstanding food often offered seconds. The most disappointing thing about the Commonwealth was the lack of knowledge the staff had about how to deal with my husband's disease. Lewy's Body's Dementia with Parkinsons. I was constantly having to educate the staff about his hallucinations and paranoia.

PositiveAll of the above is great at Commonwealth senior living. I have no experience with the memory care level there so I can't comment. I'd give the independent and assisted living levels a five. A really friendly staff, good general care, lots of activities and transportation services provided, adequate apartment sizes. Good cleanliness, really nice dining room rooms, sparkly clean though I've heard the food is a little bland.

CriticalAs far as the Cleanliness, I have visited at times and the urine odor is so overwhelming. I feel they could improve in cleaning my brother's room better. The staff are usually friendly, but they have had situations where they had agency nurses who are not very involved, but socializing. There is a break down in communications, which is on going.
