PositiveTrust your intuition
For me, there wasn't much time. Literally less than a week to make the decision because of the rapid decline of my father. But honestly, I should have just gone with them after the initial tour/meeting. Even though they were the only place I had toured. Waiting and setting up other appointments to places wasted my time because then I wasn't able to set up the room fully before his check-in day. I had to let go of my idea of perfection because no facility is going to be perfect or how I would want it.

PositiveWonderful staff, great activities
I was so very happy with the facility, they took such wonderful care of my husband. I should have moved him there long before I did. Someone was always available to help. I also had the wonderful help of Dignity Hospice. Willowbrook place was so accommodating and caring and had many resources for the residents. Their craft activities were really great for those residents that could participate. Their craft activities QMAPS were wonderful as well. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

My dad had special needs that Willowbrook was not able to accommodate so we had (required be Willowbrook) to hire private 24-hour care at a cost of [amount removed] per month in addition to the [amount removed] cost of Willowbrook. The staff is so exceptional from the front desk, nursing, food service, laundry, aids, cleaning,and maintenance. I've witnessed an aid dealing with a difficult patient,who likes dancing, waltzing down the hall together redirecting behavior in a masterful way. This is only one example of many.
