Willowbrook Place is an Inspirit Senior Living community which offers high quality senior living in the borough of Clarks Summit in the northeastern mountains of Pennsylvania. Our historical town boasts homes from the early 1800s, an abundance of outdoor recreational activities and has plenty of educational opportunities at the local college, Summit University. We are proud the high quality of care that our residents receive, as evidenced by our National Gold Award for Quality from the American Health Care Association and National Centers for Assisted Living. The staff is very attentive. The place is clean and her apartment is great. The food is good and the chef is accommodating. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

I always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, however my Dad said that only certain people would help him. He said the food was terrible. The director and cook did recently get fired. My Dad hated it there, however you have to take that with a grain of salt because he is miserable in general and he was really mean to some of the people there. He choose to never participate in any activities except for Happy Hour. I have a friend whose Mom has been there for years, and she thinks it is pretty decent there. My…

PositivePeople make or break a facility
The activities director does a nice job of planning events, crafts and outings so people can get together and socialize. Happy hour M,W,F even has an offering of alcoholic beverages and snacks. Nice outside patio where residents can hang out. Always a party for holidays where families are welcome. Besides if a place is clean, the people are the key to how good a place is. Willowbrook has some 18, 19 year old kids working. Some are pretty good, but how experienced can they be?
