Care for my parents

My parents have been residents for close to 5 years. The staff has always been available for anything they needed but went above and beyond recently. My Dad was in hospice and requiring a lot more care than normal when the hospice caregivers were not at the facility. The staff did everything they needed to do so my parents could be together at this stage of life. They insisted my Dad would spend his last days in what had become his home. Windsor House Greenville went above and beyond and I am eternally grateful!

Friendly & Helpful

The staff is always friendly and willing to help in any way to make our family resident comfortable. The staff also communicates with family members on a regular basis, with regard to our family resident and the activities happening at the facility. Our family greatly appreciates the flexibility of the staff.

My mom has had such a good experience at Windsor House

My mother moved into Windsor House in [date removed] and although it was difficult for her at first, everyone made her feel welcomed and seen. She enjoys the friendships she has made. I am thankful to the staff for caring for my mother.

Excellent caring staff .. very interested in my parents’s well being especially after the recent death of my father..

My parents entered WH in[date removed] during difficult Covid times and my parents experiencing limited mobility and other daily care items such as taking proper medications, eating regular meals and generally limiting their interaction with others.. That quickly changed for both of them with the care of the WH staff and within a few months with regular PT and OT they had much improved mobility.. Also regular administration of meds with regular meals positively improved their overall health.. Fast forward to [da

Our family's experience, not a great fit

Our loved one said the food was good. He said that the residents didn't talk to him much, maybe because he was a new face. I didn't like how pushy they were. They were trying to make me leave him there permanently

Response from the community

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re glad to hear your loved one enjoyed the food during the visit. We’re sorry to hear, however, that the experience felt less welcoming than you hoped. Adjusting to a new community can take time, and we work closely with our residents to help them feel connected and included. We also want to reassure you that our goal is never to be pushy, but rather to provide families with the information they need to make the decision that feels right for them. We appreciate your input and will use it to continue improving the way we support both residents and their families. If you’d like to speak with us directly about your concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’d value the chance to talk further.

overall would not recommend

Good: the community was clean, and the price was low. Bad: My elderly friend received poor to barely average care. Bad: supervisors and managers were unfriendly and not very helpful. Bad: the facility was too dark and depressing. Bad: post Hurricane Helene, the facility was without power for 5 days!! My elderly friend fell twice at Windsor House within 2 weeks time and went to the hospital both times. Windsor House had no idea how long my friend had been lying on the floor the 2nd time.

Response from the community

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your friend’s experience and the challenges you described. The safety and wellbeing of our residents is always our top priority, and we take your concerns very seriously. The impact of Hurricane Helene created difficult circumstances for many in our community, and our team strives to be as prepared as possible for emergencies beyond our control. In regards to the dark interior, we have recently added more lighting to create a brighter environment. We are especially concerned about the falls you mentioned, and we want to learn more so we can address this directly with our care team. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you personally to better understand the situation and ensure we are providing the support your friend needs. Please reach out to us at sales@windsorhousegreenville.com at your earliest convenience so we can follow up promptly. Thank you again for sharing your perspective—we are committed to making improvements and to providing compassionate, high-quality care for every resident entrusted to us.
