About Aberdeen Crossings by New Perspective

The tour was thorough and all of our questions were answered. We received some good advice from the facility that helped us make our decision.

Poor communication

Our father lived at Aberdeen for 2.7 years. The quality of the food and services declined greatly in the time he was there. There were times we were not called when dad fell and he was taken directly to the hospital. Toward the end of his time there, he struggled with dementia and falls. Thankfully we had a camera in his room so we were able to monitor him. Several times during the last week he lived there, dad was about to or had indeed fallen. When calls were made to Aberdeen to ask for help, no one answered an

Awful Place

Strongly advise against using Aberdeen. The management truly does not care about the residents or families. They make countries billing errors and have been overcharging every single resident due to deliberately miscalculated care costs. They make significant medication mistakes then try to hide the evidence. It's truly awful.

Awful - do NOT recommend

Aberdeen has incredibly unprofessional staff who do not care about the residents. They did a terrible job of caring for my dad, especially in his dying days. They refused to communicate with my family entirely after the passing of my parents and claimed it was because they didn't have to talk to me since my parents were dead. Horrifying.

Friendly staff

The staff is very nice people. The problem was my dad has Alzheimer's. They let us believe that they could handle people from a memory care unit. I like the fact that they mixed everybody together both assisted living and Alzheimer's or memory care people but my dad had a few outburst And they said that they couldn't keep them there and then reiterated that they were in a memory care facility. So we had to move him out of there and he's staying at a different place now.
