The staff at Addington Place was super nice. They were responsive to follow up questions. The place felt like a good choice for our mom. She has been there for 'just over a month and she really loves it. I would definitely recommend it to others

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Addington Place at East Lake! The community itself is beautiful — clean, bright, and welcoming. The atmosphere feels comfortable and home-like, not institutional at all. I could tell right away that the residents are truly cared for and happy to be there. Exceptional Care and Wonderful Staff!

I recently visited my grandmother at Addington Place, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she’s receiving. The entire community is warm, welcoming, and very well kept — it truly feels like home. My grandmother especially loves all of the activities and parties the staff organize for the residents — the happy hours are definitely her favorite! It’s wonderful to see her so engaged and happy. Addington Place of East Lake would be fine for independent living or someone that needs minimal assistance. The aides were above average, but clearly overwhelmed. The dining room staff was exceptionally friendly and did what they could to encourage socialization. Housekeeping was minimal, again probably geared more towards residents that required minimal assistance. I would recommend Addington Place of East Lake for residents that require little assistance.

Our Experience

The staff has larger turnover in some areas, like care staff. Housekeeping done weekly is thorough. Laundry is also done weekly along with bed sheet changing. Showers with assistance twice a week ..evenings if requested. I'm sent a copy of the resident calendar sometimes. Move in was a breeze. Meals are the biggest issue with residents but it is a main gathering and social time every day. Sometimes my dad says the portions are small, but you can ask for seconds. Visiting the community

I recently visited Addington Place of East Lake when I was sharing information for an upcoming event for seniors. I have not been in the community for many years and enjoyed my entire experience from beginning to end. The outside of the building is very uplifting and I was able to meet a nice couple currently living at the community.
