PositiveAddington Place of Mt. Pleasant has such an open and welcoming environment. I really loved that residents can easily go to the kitchen/bar area to get a drink or help between meals—it feels very accessible and home-like. There are great activity options for residents, and I appreciate that they provide transportation to local appointments. If my dad decides to move here, I love that the staff will help us transition his appointments to this area, which is a huge relief. The menu options were appealing, and having P…

Could not have hoped for a better place for Mom. It has been a smooth transition. Probably helps that almost every day one of the family is there at least for a few minutes. Residents are friendly also.

I hate that I am writing a negative review. They took good care of my mom, but did not follow through on many things. I signed all the paperwork to get everything settled but they were supposed to go over everything with mom once she arrived. They never did. No follow through on physical therapy either. She was there 5 weeks with no PT. Mom really did not like the staff knocking on the door and just walking in. It made it feel like a nursing home rather than her own assisted living apartment. PositiveI am very happy with Addington Place of Mount Pleasant Iowa. My mother lives there and I have visited twice, from out of town. The staff are friendly, very clean facility, and the activities keep my mom enteratined. I also enjoyed a family activity. It was great fun.

Fantastic staff and an eye to detail when it comes to knowing their residents on a one on one basis.
