Located just 15 minutes north of Nashville, Elmcroft of Hendersonville is conveniently situated in one of the fastest growing communities in Tennessee. Quiet, tree-lined neighborhood streets wind through the low rolling hills surrounding the city's main thoroughfare. Known as the city by the lake, Hendersonville offers 26 miles of grass-covered shoreline within the city limits. Elmcroft of Hendersonville is an assisted living and Memory Care community offering accommodations for those who may require assistance in their daily living activities. It is staffed 24 hours a day with trained healthcare personnel and offers as much or as little care as a resident may want or need. In addition, Elmcroft of Hendersonville has a licensed Health Care Director on call 24 hours a day. Elmcroft of Hendersonville features a full sprinkler system and each apartment is equipped with an emergency call system that may be used whenever the need arises. In addition, all exterior doors may be locked so that a secure environment can be maintained.

CriticalNeed to pay support staff more for more than mediocre care.
Food is cheap school cafeteria food. Its horrible. My husband lost weight there bc he hated most of the food. The room is a good size, my husband also had a private washroom. They only bathe a person 2x per week, even if they have pooped themselves. They just use wipes which don't really 'clean' the person. The director and memory care supervisor say they will do things that they don't do. They are not very reliable. They clean well enough, but they don't change the memory care residents out of their dirty diape…

What we really liked about American House is that it was a smaller community and very hands-on. All the people that work there are very friendly and seem to really care for mom. [name removed] who is the main contact that I had with the community was awesome. I met with him for about an hour and he was very compassionate about mom.
