I think [name removed], who administered the tour, is fantastic. The facility is beautiful and the staff seems great. I was going to move my wife here. Unfortunately, the Director of the Memory Care unit felt my wife would be too much trouble to care for as a person with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and a fall risk, so they did not want to accept her. So, if your loved one has more than just simple dementia, I would look elsewhere for a Memory Care Unit.

They were also curious to learn about her living circumstances, needs, and wants for a quality assisted living facility. American House has a vibrant senior community comprised of 2 floors or assisted living, 3 floors of independent living, and one secured floor for memory care. Each type of living has its own beautiful outdoor terrace. The memory care floor has a sensory garden. The assisted living terrace has bocce ball and other sports for visiting families and active residents. The independent living floor has a terrace open to all that has comfortable chairs and a skyline view. There is a concierge and hot coffee in the lobby 24…

Wonderful place! Clean, beautiful, and good-sized accomodations. Every staff member genuinely like being with residents. Music tends to get a big response from residents! Hoping it will be perfect for my loved one.

They really worked with us. They are a little more expensive than some places but I think you get your moneys worth. They have a very professional staff and they do make family members feel good about the place.
