Residents enjoy a continental breakfast, a restaurant-style dining room, and a gourmet cafe, in addition to a chapel, a library, a game room, and the ever-popular theater room! American House Sterling Woods strives to promote independence and peace of mind through maintenance-free living, engaging activities, and restaurant-style dining. This state-of-the-art approach to senior living allows opportunities to create a personalized touch of home for each resident while providing them with the personal services they need. There is also a dedicated Life Enrichment Director in charge of planning a wide range of cultural, social, and recreational activities, as well as field trips. I have met some great people on the staff and residents too. The place is second rate. They don't even have a vending machine. The new administration is not the friendliest, the food menu needs to be more diverse.

I moved to this community to be closer to my niece. I enjoy the activities, puzzles and music. I have a lot of peers my age and my apartment is big. The staff is nice but they could improve on a welcome committee.

I moved here two years ago from another smaller community after a rehab stay. I get a lot support from the staff with rides, cleaning and meals. I can no longer live on my own so this place meets my needs.
