PositiveTo provide feedback on American homes, it's difficult because of my mother's age of 102 and her ability to be involved and enjoying the food. She only eats breakfast and lunch, so they're probably going to rate about 4, her apartment is kept neat and clean by the staff. I would rate the staff in general at a 4+. I can't really evaluate the activities because she is limited to a wheelchair. She also is given services by hospice, and I would rate hospice 2 stars..

PositiveA wonderful community that felt very warm and welcoming. They gave us lots of information that was incredibly helpful as we navigate the process of moving my dad into memory care.

PositiveStaff is truly engaged with the residents. The assisted living 1 bedrooms are spacious and offers privacy and room for visitors. I've had some lunches there and the is good and they offer a variety. There are plenty of activities for residents to participate if they chose to. I believe they offer outings foe residents who able to shop for themselves. I personally have had to hire private home health services to transport my sister to her doctors appointments due to she is in a wheelchair and has poor memory needing…

PositiveThe staff was very friendly! I liked the idea that they do not use agency staff, staff is permanent and seem to be treated well. Three therapies are available which is a plus. My concern was with the size of the rooms. Also, in Memory Care, residents must share a bathroom. We have had experience with this as my mother was in a memory care facility and this did not work for her. Also Memory Care residents are allowed in other resident rooms which will result in lost clothing and other items.
★★★★★
CriticalFrom the outside the facility looks organized, but inside it is not managed well. Night shifts are understaffed, communication is poor,& areas like residents rooms are left in unacceptable condition!! Hopes this reviews helps out.
★★★★★
CriticalMy friend lived there for four years and when I visited her all she could say is how bad she was treated by the directors and a few care staff. Once she was moved up on memory care she died four days later because of the lack of care. She paid over $[removed] a month and the facility did not even send her flowers when she died. Same directors have returned and a few employees that pass around with them. Don’t expect things to get better. The ratings on here are over-exaggerated.
