Surrounded by vast fields of green grass and open skies, Anam Care of Rockford is an independent living and memory care community located in eastern Rockford, Illinois. Situated on the banks of the Rock River in northern Illinois, Rockford offers a delightful mix of urban revitalization and outdoor recreation. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, our community offers safe, peaceful residential living with the services and support you need. Community Services and Amenities With a combined nine decades of hands-on experience in nursing, behavioral health and long-term care, our team of experts are able to coordinate services that go above and beyond. Our healthcare aides are available around the clock to assist with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, and more), medication management, and incontinence care, among other services. We also have registered nurses on hand to assist with medical services, such as monitoring vital signs and addressing general health concerns. For more advanced care, we are in close proximity to some of Rockford’s finest healthcare facilities, but we also coordinate routine visits with more specialized healthcare professionals. We strive to provide services that not only nurture the body, but the spirit as well. We recognize the value of fostering a strong sense of community for residents, and we believe that starts with person-centered activities. Our team plans activities and events around each resident’s unique interests, hobbies, and history to foster an inclusive environment and encourage participation. Outside of activities and events, you’ll often find residents enjoying each other's company around the fireplace, catching up on their shows in the TV lounge, or soaking up some sun in our outdoor common areas. We handle the day to day tasks of housekeeping, laundry services, and meal preparation so you can focus on the things that bring you joy. Whether you enjoy getting pampered in the beauty salon or getting your hands dirty with the gardening club, there’s no shortage of fun here at Anam Care. Living Arrangements We offer semi-private rooms, two-bedroom duplexes, and studio units. Residents and their loved ones rave about the homey atmosphere, excellent craftsmanship, and thoughtful design of our spaces. PositiveIt's a small place, 2 buildings and communal living spaces. They share living room areas. It's on the higher end cost wise and we may move my dad because of that. He's happy there and has good care. They also have family dinner nights and where families can come and eat with their loved one and very welcoming
