About the community
We're serious about care. We're here to keep the seniors you love healthy, safe, and happy. If you're looking for pools and tennis courts and a full-service spa, we're probably not the place for your loved one. Our experience is that people who want these kind of amenities are better off just staying home. But if you're looking for a care experience that's as exceptional as it is affordable -- in a setting that's warm and welcoming and feels just about as close to home as possible -- we should chat. And please keep the following high-points in mind as you begin your search: 1. You simply won't find a more qualified, experienced, or compassionate team of caregivers anywhere. Our executive director, Anita Williams, is a trained social worker who has more than 20 years of experience running assisted living communities. You owe it to yourself -- or, more importantly, your mom or dad -- to come by and meet them. 2. Our community is beautiful and oozes low-country style. Our courtyards -- complete with mature Palmetto trees and even a putting green -- and screened-in porches offer generous spaces to relax, unwind, and connect with old friends and new. 3. Our rates are very affordable and all-inclusive, which means there are no additional fees for care services. You cover prescriptions, personal care supplies, and telephone services, and the rest is included in the rent. Concerned your loved one can't afford to live in a place as nice as Arbor Landing at Pawleys? You just might be surprised. Call us today to discuss your loved one's specific situation. We hope we have the opportunity to meet you soon. We'll show you around our community and get to know each other over a glass of sweet tea on the front porch!

PositiveArbor Landing is a great place. A good friend of mine owns it. That's why we went there. I have no complaints. They really take care of their patients. The staff is excellent.
★★★★★
CriticalTerrible experience in memory care not enough staff members for 30+ people. It has 5 stars and that it not even accurate. Staff only wants individuals that come there to wear depends because they only let them go to the bathroom. They only have certain times during the day that they allow them to go to the bathroom to go change them if a patient does not wear depends then they tell them if they can't do it by themselves that they have to wait until it is a certain time.
★★★★★
PositiveMy mom resides in the memory care unit of this facility, which is separate from the assisted living side and comes at a higher cost. Unfortunately, there is a noticeable difference between the two areas. The assisted living side is beautiful-it has an elegant dining room with tablecloths and cloth napkins, a well-maintained courtyard, and a wide variety of activities. In contrast, the memory care unit feels neglected. The courtyard is not well maintained, with broken chairs and unkept landscaping, and even simple …

PositiveStaff very caring, attentive and treats all the residents like family! Food is good, rooms kept clean.

PositiveArbor landing was a good place for my parents, they were treated well. Staff was friendly and helpful. One thing I wish we had done was securing my mom's rings. I think it happened at Georgetown Hospital, her rings were stolen when she stayed overnight.
★★★★★
CriticalThere is not enough staff and the staff is not friendly and caring. Its not good to care for memory care patients unless they have no medical concerns.
