Arden Courts of Livonia in Livonia, Michigan, is changing the way seniors thrive. Unlike many other facilities, memory care is all we do. For nearly 25 years, we’ve designed our programming for the specialized care of residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Our ongoing commitment to staff education and training has kept us at the forefront of delivering the latest dementia caregiving techniques. This includes the highly progressive and personalized technique of analyzing medications according to the resident's DNA — helping to ensure both the proper medication types and levels, eliminating overmedicating. Let Arden Courts of Livonia's dedicated care team create a safe, engaging, and personalized environment for your loved one. Community services and amenities Livonia’s stately design features home-like common areas, inviting kitchen and family rooms, and beautiful tree-lined walking paths within an enclosed backyard, all designed for the safety and comfort of our residents. In total there are 4.2 acres to wander through. And because our land is fully secured, wandering is encouraged. This makes our community unique and as free as possible for memory care residents. Residents can also enjoy three meals daily, along with snacks and beverages, among many other features and services specially designed just for our residents. Living options We offer a cozy selection of studio units which are all wheelchair accessible and have plenty of natural lighting. Residents are encouraged to customize their space however it most feels like home. Housekeeping and laundry services are administered regularly, and staff are on-site 24 hours a day to assist residents with any urgent needs. PositiveWe toured four facilities that were not private and Arden Courts was our favorite among the four. Your facility was bright, cheerful and welcoming. We liked the idea of the facility being divided into four areas based on cognitive state. We were also impressed by the ratio of patient to caregiver. Your facility ranked second on our total list close behind one of the private facilities that we had also toured.

PositivePaige was very nice and was able to give us a lot of useful information. The building was on the older side but was clean and the rooms all had carpet, it does probably need to be updated since it was on the older side, currently it's not a good fit for what we are looking for. All the residents seemed happy and staff seemed very happy too and there was a lot of staff there. Price wise it was a little bit on the higher end for what you would get and how it looks.
