We understand that living with ongoing medical needs can be challenging, and so our trained and licensed caregiving staff are there to help when you need assistance with activities of daily living or other regularly scheduled support services, including advanced memory care services. We’ve established reliable assisted living accommodations tailored to residents’ needs and an abundance of activities across our stately community. Community Amenities and Services Residents are delighted by the many amenities and services we provide. Every day residents can look forward to three nutritious, delicious meals served in our rustic, restaurant-style dining room, with a vaulted ceiling, wood beams, and stacked stone fireplace. We also conveniently offer all-day dining. Making the move to Ashwood Court opens doors to a more vibrant and independent senior living experience. By making our community your home, you will enjoy a lifestyle filled with fun, friends, and flexibility. To help ensure that all residents retain their health and safety, our full-time licensed nurses and caregivers are available around the clock to assist residents with medication management and any time-sensitive or daily needs. On-site occupational, speech, and physical therapy services are also available. Wireless emergency call systems are given to every resident for any emergency needs. Fire sprinklers and alarms are equipped throughout all units. With plenty of space to make your own, and lovely community amenities to enjoy, you’re sure to find comfort and security here at Ashwood Court. Care Types Offered Ashwood Court is a Type B assisted living facility . In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities: Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. Type C (Adult Foster Care): 4-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. PositiveI recently toured Ashwood Court in North Richland Hills. While the exterior of the building was nothing special, the interior was nice, clean, and well maintained. They are in the process of remodeling all of the apartment/rooms and they are really nice. The Sales Director was very easy to talk to and seemed to genuinely want to make sure it was a good fit for us. PositiveI walked in to check it out and got a very warm fuzzy
I visited several long term and assisted living facilities. Long term was an absolutely turns off because I wasn't spoken to at any of them. Assisted living locations were much more. Friendly and eager to help. However, at Ashwood I experienced a very warm feeling when visiting the receptionist and marketing dir by the end of the visit. I knew this is where I wanted to bring mom. Have been disappointment.

I had my uncle in a different assisted living for a few years where he wasn't receiving the level of care he deserved. When I found Ashwood, we got him on their waiting list. PositiveAshwood Court Review
The staff was very nice and helpful. We had my mom all set up and had moved her things in but she got sick and passed away before she got there. Lady at reception desk is wonderful. Everyone was nice and helpful. We met several residents while moving in and out and they all seemed happy and well cared for. We saw lots of activities going on for them also. Never tried the food but it smelled very good and everyone was lining up early for it. This facility is older but seems well maintained. The level of care they p…
