CriticalIf you think you are going to get a facility for your loved one that focuses on memory care and stimulation then please look elsewhere. The residents are mostly in wheelchairs and watch TV. Their version of a locked facility is having alarmed doors that can be pushed open. The units are typically short staffed too
★★★★★
PositiveClose to her family’s home, making it easy to visit her. Plenty of parking. Nice outdoor spaces and common areas to sit in when family visits.

CriticalThere wasn't much activities. They could really do with my dad due to his dementia, but I felt like they didn't really do anything. I think they did a better job interacting with him when he was at the rehab facility in Rockville center. The food was what it was. I never really tasted it. I'm sure it was fine and the room was nice. It was a good size. How everything he needed. I had a few instances where I felt that they can care less what happens to him. PositiveVillage Green would be a 5 to each one. My mom was very very happy there. She felt at home and everyone that worked there she considered a friend, honestly. Even when her dementia worsened and she didn't remember them, they were so kind to her. I would show up often and they wouldn't know I was there and I never saw anyone treat her poorly. I'm so happy I found the Village Green because the time she spent there she was happy, she was well cared for and I would highly recommend!!!

PositiveThe tour, interview and onboarding process was a dream come true. Thankful for all of the engaging staff and management who always pick up the phone, reached and reach out when needed, and the calm family oriented overall vibe of the facility.
★★★★★
PositiveThe Village Green is a wonderful facility. Our overall experience has been positive. The cleanliness of the facility from 1 to 10 I would say is a 10. The staff is friendly. The quality of care is good and when there is a problem, they address it immediately. administrative staff is attentive to residents needs. The quality of the food 1 to 10 I would say is usually a 6, occasionally there is an outstanding meal or two. The residents do have monthly meetings with the chef, and they have the opportunity to express t…
