Staff is friendly and caring, chef came out to greet my father in law and speak to him about his food preferences. Since moving to Sunrise my father in law is active, talking with other residents and has stated " I'm loving life". I would recommend Sunrise to friends and family.

They allow dogs The room sizes are fair. They're not huge. It allows for one bed dresser a chair the entranceway is got a kitchen. That's OK does have a nice window. It seems adequate.

The staff is friendly and engaging. They are responsive to concerns too. The facility is clean, I just find carpeting to be a negative in health care settings. The food is mediocre but they are very accommodating in their service.

CriticalA better fit if you are mobile and can advocate for yourself
I would add one star in every category if my mother was more mobile and communicative. Sunrise is best suited for people who are reasonably mobile because the staff, while efficient, do not proactively reach out and check on the residents (patients really). I’ve heard that my 98 year old mother, and seen others similarly disabled, yelling for attention and complaining about being left alone. Also, they are noticeably understaffed on weekends. PositiveSunrise made the last year of my husband's life so enjoyable. They treated him like a caring family. There were so many activities that he really enjoyed. The best is how all residents would go to eat in a restaurant style room and there was a menu The food was excellent. I am so glad I could afford this wonderful place.
