CriticalWe did not have a good experience. My mom was diagnosed with a metastasized brain tumor 12 days after move in. She cannot return because of medical reasons but they evaluated her and despite recommendations from her rehab facility determined she could return which meant paying the 60 days rent instead of the 30 days rent if leaving for medical reasons. Also we had her room completely cleaned out about 7 weeks before we could stop paying rent. All in they got 3 1/2 months rent plus the $[removed] buy in for the 12 d…

Positive5's for all. She's very happy there. The residents are very welcoming and friendly, as are the staff. The facility has many nice seating areas we can sit in when we visit our mom, and the facility is very clean and well kept.

PositiveI have lived here at Atria Marland Place for almost 2 Years. I came on my own accord and found the one my son and I thought would be best for me and convient for him. We made the correct choice! I made friends by joining in the many activities they have from card games, Bingo, entertainment (that is always great) and by being friendly myself. I made my apartment like home with many familiar things I took along with me and some new furnishings. The staff is wonderful. I have a few I would like to praise, [Name R…

CriticalFor us, the positive part of Atria is that [Name Removed] connects with other residents. There are other residents on the same cognitive level as her. She is able to hang out with her "friends." when we visit, we often find her in the common spaces interacting, socially. That was our primary reason for choosing Atria. I really don't have anything negative to say about the facility.
★★★★★
PositiveNurses and CNAs are top notch! Food and activities are good. They could improve by having a low income model that was transparent or a Masshealth continuation program.
★★★★★
PositiveVery nice facility. In a converted old mill. Nice big windows. Very well kept. Great experience with staff from front desk through caregivers on floor. Prices are very competitive.
