I’m very pleased with the care my parent receives at Avalon House. The two full-time caregivers are warm, lovely people who show concern for everyone in the house, including the families. I visit almost daily and feel welcome, especially when one of the caregivers pulls up a chair for me. Whenever I ask questions about my parent, both caregivers provide answers with empathy and without hesitation. The house is not fancy, but it’s very clean and neat. My mother-in-law has been an Avalon House resident for almost two years now and we couldn't be happier with the care she has received there. She consistently tells us she feels safe and comfortable and enjoys the homemade meals.
