Overall would recommend

Very friendly staff. We feel confident with the nursing staff. My brother seems content with the overall staff. Pretty much available to answer any questions. Plenty of activities to choose from & outing to go on if the resident is interested. We are very pleased overall.

Barrington Terrace of Ft. Myers

My complaints are: there are days my husband sees no one until the late afternoon. No one checks on him, bed isn't made and sometimes he has no top sheet on his bed. The other problem is, usually, the protein is cooked so long, he can barely cut it, not to mention chewing or swallowing it. Other than that, everything is very good.

They are very transparent during the discovery process. Very caring and attentive staff. Clean facility with numerous activities.

Beyond their abilities

Our stay here was short lived unfortunately. Mom moved in with the explanation that she would be a fall risk. Of course we were told this was not a problem. She had several falls inc one while the only staff was washing dishes instead of monitoring. After approximately a month it was strongly suggested (with the hint of or else) to me that it would be a very smart idea to hire a private duty sitter for mom. 8 hrs a day every day should be enough. Someone to sit next to her and remind her not to reach or try to get…
